My musical style blends orchestral power and filmic drama to contemporary music. My desire is to create a soundscape full of soaring melodies with power and intensity in a modern outfit.
The soundscape consists of big, orchestral arrangements with drama, cinematic depth with a modern twist. My song choices, which not only present good lyrical and melodic structure, but are all songs that I grew up listening to. Covers or ‘Reimaginations’ of well known songs work very well as they invite the listener into a new sound world whilst still maintaining a sense of familiarity and connection to the song. And therein lies the magic and skill of reinventing songs which hopefully have the power to draw in a new demographic of listener to push the the classical crossover genre further than before.
